Founded in 1971, the Wessex Academy is renowned for its family atmosphere and excellent academic results. Tuition in small classes ensures individual attention. There is an excellent sports, excursion and social programme throughout the year.

Set in its own private gardens, the school is situated midway between Poole and Bournemouth. Host families and town centre amenities are nearby, as are facilities for water sports, golf, horse riding, volley ball, football and tennis.

General English, Examination courses and long term courses run throughout the year for adult students aged over 16. During June, July and August Summer Courses are available and our junior programmePISCES operates during July and August.
